Turkey is a well-known destination in this field, largely because of the quality of the dental materials and the relatively lower cost compared with Europe and America. We arrange your appointment at a partner clinic, the examination and the X-rays; the treatment plan is drawn up by the doctor for your case alone.

Titanium or zirconia implants placed in the jawbone where a tooth is missing, with a crown fitted on top.
Zirconia crowns
Metal-free crowns on a zirconia base that transmit light much like a natural tooth; preferred for visible teeth and where extra strength is wanted.
Porcelain crowns
Worn, chipped or discoloured teeth covered with porcelain crowns, correcting the shape and the function of the tooth together.
Laminate veneers
Thin porcelain shells bonded to the front surface of the tooth, correcting colour and shape with minimal reduction.
Hollywood Smile

Frequently asked questions
How long does a dental implant take?
It can span three to eight months, most of it spent waiting for the implant to fuse with the jawbone: roughly three months for the lower jaw and six for the upper. The timeline differs from case to case, and some steps can sometimes be combined.
Do I stay in Istanbul the whole time?
No. The plan is usually split into two visits: one to place the implants, another to fit the crowns once fusion is complete. The number and length of visits is set by the doctor within the plan.
Who is a candidate?
People who have lost one or more teeth, with adequate bone density, good oral health and healthy tissue, and no poorly controlled chronic conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure. The final decision is the doctor’s, after examination and imaging.
What is the difference between titanium and zirconia implants?
Titanium is the most common, being strong and fusing well with the jawbone. Zirconia is a ceramic material close to the colour of natural teeth and costs more. The doctor suggests what suits your case.
Are there side effects?
As with any surgical procedure there may be swelling of the face and gums, bruising, pain at the implant site or slight bleeding, and less often complications that need the doctor’s attention. The clinic explains the possibilities and the instructions before you consent.
